Let Go of Fear: Prayers for Protection
When you are overcome by worry, use prayer to remember who God is and the protection he has promised you. It’s easy for us to become overwhelmed with events of evil in our world that cause great fear and anxiety.
We are promised in God’s Word that he will protect us (2 Thessalonians 3:3). But it’s not always so easy to let go of fear. Sometimes prayer can be difficult or feel like an inconvenience because we don’t know what to say or how long prayer should last. For those moments, try these prayers for protection!
Prayer for Personal Protection
God, I know that you are faithful and will protect me.
I thank you for your protection and thank you that evil cannot separate me from your love (Romans 8:31-39).
Please guard my mind, heart, body, and soul!
Thank you God for protecting us in the midst of our busy lives; we pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Prayer to Strengthen Your Faith During Personal Threats or Danger
Lord Jesus, please help me remember who is with us always even when things get tough.
You promised never to leave nor forsake anyone who belongs to Christ (Hebrews 13:5). Please strengthen my faith and help me trust you more today.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am reminded and grateful that we live in a world full of evil but also surrounded by your angels who protect us at every turn.
